On Friday 20 May, our P1 children, together with their teachers and Dominik Heil from Henry's Eismanfukatur, planted the raised beds.
Our students planted and sowed various vegetables, including tomatoes, kohlrabi, cucumbers, carrots, radishes and various salads.
We are already looking forward to harvesting our first ESS vegetables. Together with the children, we will prepare a healthy and delicious meal from them. This is a really great project to show the children the cycle of nature - from building a vegetable patch, to growing and planting the vegetables, to processing them into a healthy meal.
