ICT choice for S3

Upon entering the third year of secondary school (S3), all students have the option to choose ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as an additional subject.
The following information and guidelines should be taken into account when making your decision:
- The compulsory number of lessons per week in S3 is 31 lessons per week (WS). ICT is taught for 2 hours. The number of weekly lessons increases to 33 WS if ICT is chosen.
- If ICT is not chosen, the corresponding lessons are available to pupils as study time.
- ICT cannot be taken in S3 if Latin was chosen as an elective subject in S2.
Note: It is possible that the course cannot be organised due to insufficient student numbers or other restrictions. The school management reserves the right to make the final decision.
Procedure of optionally selecting ICT in S3:
- Thursday, TBA: parent information and distribution of selection forms
- Monday, TBA: Latest submission of selection forms (to class teacher)
